Nov: 23. - Saturday - [[underline]] To the Queen's Council [[/underline]] The irritability in H:M: wch had prevaild so continually throughout the greater part of the week, abated gradually yesterday, & the K. became good humoured & contented before dinner. H:M: ate well & amusd Himself wth His harpsichord. That the same wrong impressions were in full force was obvious from the manner of His entertainment wch appear'd directed altogether to the arrangement of the company of His own fancy. The K: went to bed quietly & has slept almost 4 hours, & at our visit this morning preserved His good- humour even under our attempt to correct one of His erroneous notions.
