Nov. 22. Friday To the Queen's Council. We lament to have to inform the Council that H:M: was again inaccessible to us when we made our usual visit this morning; our several questions respecting His health being immediately answered by heavy denunciations. This state of irascibility prevaild throughout yesterday, & in one of the storms of passion H.M. was more than ever forgetful of what is decent. We shd: regret this excitement less if in the intervals of His bursts of indignation H:M:s mind appear'd interested & occupied by real objects of life & nature; but the K: continues to live in a world of His own, & creates amusement & business for Himself out of subjects wch have no foundation in reason or truth; in the society
