Nov: 16. Saturday. P.80. Tongue clean -- Gum swelled & blue - [[underline]] Bulln: [[/underline]] for tomorrow: H:M: - continues nearly in the same state - To the Queen's Council. The state of excitement under wch we left the K: at our visit yestery; morning subsided in a short time & the rest of the day was pass'd tho' not in the most satisfactory manner, yet certainly better than we expected. H:M:s demeanour throughout the day masked an irritable state of nerves, & tears & laughter were observed to follow each other in quick succession. The K: was long at dinner & did not eat his usual quantity of food. He went to bed in a storm - but has pass'd comparatively
