been disappointed. The K: has pass'd the night without a moment of rest, & has been more noisy & turbulent than we have known Him almost at any time. In this state of excitement wch continued at the usual time of our visit, we did not think it prudent to run the risque of increasing the irritation by making ourselves known to the K: for the slight expectation of obtaining additional information of H:.M:s condition.
