Nov: 7. Thursday. P.78. Eyes in constant quick motion H:M: complained of noises in His ears & of the comfort of the Lav: water to His head - [[underline]] To the Queen's Council [[/underline]] The irritability wch has been noticed as prevailing more remarkably in the course of the last 3 days contind. tho' with intervals of composure, throughout yesterday - & it was striking to observe H:M: burst forth into expressions of indignation against persons who have been long since dead - as tho' they were standing about Him, & had given Him cause of offence at the moment. The K: ate but very little dinner yesterday - but made no complaint of indisposition, & went to bed at His usual hour. H:M: has pass'd a quiet night but slept only 2½ hours. The K: was good humoured at the interview this morning & told some anecdotes of past times correctly & pleasantly - but
