went also to bed without reluctance but while undressing burst forth into two violent fits of anger against Pembington, & one of the men quite unprovok'd. He was at that time neither touching nor speakg; to H:M. H:M: slept only 1¾ hours during the night - He soon became so intractable & made so many attempts to throw off His clothes, that Restraint became indispensable & it was continued for some hours. At our interview H:M: was very irritable & it was hardly possible to hold any conversation wth Him.
