Oct: 28. Monday. P.75. Skin cool. To the Queen's Council. H:M: pass'd yesterday very quietly in the same manner as He had done the day before. Sometimes H:M: play'd upon His Harpsichord - was often silent, & sometimes spoke for a little time. His conversation related fancifully to an Inundation, wch was to drown the whole of the country; & for wch He was making preparations to escape to Denmark. The dinner likewise pass'd as on Saturday without irritation, but the usual ceremony was longer than on Saturday, & pronounced audibly in the German language - In the evening He slept a good deal & it was expected that when the hour of going to bed was announced
