Oct: 25. 1811. To the Prince Regent - [[underline]] Sir [[/underline]] I have watch'd H:M: wth great attention for the last 24 hours having had the opportunity of sitting up last night, & I am convinc'd that not only is H:Ms: state of mind [[underline]] not [[/underline]] improv'd, but the condition of the Ks: general health not so good as it was a fortnight ago. The bursts of passion were most frequent yesterday, & in the short intervals of peace and silence H:M: betray'd in His countenance the most mark'd irritation by wch His frame was vexed. At dinner time H:M: ate but little - having thrown away with great violence at least half his food. Before 8 oclock it became again a question whether the Restraint shd be impos'd, or to avoid this whether the K: shd go to bed.
