Oct: 16. 1811. P.64. Tongue pretty clear - Eyes steady. To the Queen's Council - Within the last 24 hours H.M. has had more violent fits of irritation than we have usually observed; so as to have interrupted his dinner yesterday, and to have postpon'd His breakfast this morning. H:M:, however, retir'd to His bed quietly last night - He slept 3 hours in the night, & had twice yesterday slept in His chair about 3/4 of an hour each time. H.M. receiv'd us this morning without any expression of anger or unusual irritation; but we are sorry to observe that His Delusions have for some days past appear'd to be more uninterruptedly present to His fancy than at any previous time, or at least more than at any time when H:M: has been equally
