To the Prince-Regent - Oct: 10. [[underline]] Sir, [[/underline]] The K: pass'd a quieter day yesterday than any of the last fortnight tho' in the course of it. & particularly at dinner time H:M: discoverd & acted under the influence of all His distemper'd notions. H:M: went to bed at His usual hour in a still & gentle manner - but during His undressing refer'd as usual to the strange arrangements wch his fancy has formed in respect to Persons who have been long since dead, and whom H: M: conceived to be still about His bed and in His house.
