Receipt For White Collop Take a little Veal, beat it small & thin, & round with sweet herbs, chopped fine, with a little Butter, Pepper, & Salt. -- put them alltogether in a stew pan, let them [[addition]] stew [[/addition]] gently & quick -- a quarter of an hour is sufficient, & if you add mushrooms & Cream, it will improve it; if you have no Cream, milk thickened with a little Flour is good. -- To take out Port Wine stains -- some Cream heated over the fire till it becomes thick, then put it on the stain -- & send it to the wash.
