[[underline]] for measures look at the 1st page [[/underline]] Milk of Almonds fresh prepared 6 drachms or [[underline]] 6 [[/underline]] ^ [[addition]] teaspoonfuls [[/addition]] Powder of antimony .... 1 Grain Purified nitre .... 5 Grains Syrup of Tolu .... 1 drachm & a half mix the ingredients well together into a draught to be taken every six hours.- Take [[underline]] Mucilage of Quince Seeds [[/underline]] and dab the Eyelids frequently. - 2d/ 9ber 4th Take Syrup of white poppies ....half an ounce ^ [[addition]] 1 table spoonful [[/addition]] Lemon Juice .... half an ounce Syrup of Tolu .... one Ounce ^ [[addition]] 2 table spoonfuls [[/addition]] make it into a tincture & let a little be taken when the Cough in troublesome, to the breathing difficult.-
