165 For a Spasm in the Womb Take Laudanum Glisters alternately with Oil one - taking care the body is open, by the following prescription Take Epsom salts one ounce & a half Infusion of Roses ....15 ounces Syrup of mulberries .... half an ounce Spirit of mint .... half an ounce mix it & take four table spoonfuls Every day about noon.- 5 [[deletion]] Grains [[/deletion]] ^ [[addition]] or 6 drops or more [[/addition]] of Laudanum in a glass of Camphorated Julip is good for any spasm, of the Womb or otherwise.- Susan's prescription Dr denman [[underline]] a good opening medicine for [[/underline]] the Womb Xber 25th 1805 Infusion of Roses - 14 ounces Syrup of mulberries [[deletion]] 14 ounces [[/deletion]] six drachms Spirit of mint - six drachms Epsom Salt one ounce & a half, - mix them, - of this take 2 or 3 table spoonfuls 2 or 3 times a day. -
