163 [[unclear]] the 19th [[unclear]] 1803 - Purgings what cured my Boy of his dysentery was 1st a lavement of mutton fat, at night a pill made of two grains of Calomel, with a quarter of a Grain of the Extract Opium - the morning when he wakes, [[deletion]] a good dose [[/deletion]] ( a large table spoonful) of Castor Oil, if it can be procured, - if not any good dose of physic. - to eat arrow Root, - not walk - not bathe, - not catch Cold - & breakfast or [[addition]] dine on [[/addition]] mutton fat ^ [[addition]] boiled [[/addition]] with milk. - Two Table spoonfuls' of the best Rhubarb mixed in a quart Bottle of the best Port Wine, - & of that take a Wine Glass full [[deletion]] when [[/deletion]] twice, or 3 times per day.
