153 Complaints of Babies - purging - &c Magnesia, Rhubarb & Cream of Tartar of Each give five grains to a Child with a complaint in his Bowels. Mint Water [[underline]] 4 [[/underline]] table spoonfuls - Magnesia [[underline]] 30 [[/underline]] Grains prepared Chalk [[underline]] 30 Grains [[/underline]] - tincture of Cinnamon 2 teaspoonfuls mixed together & taken every three hours - one teaspoon at a time - you may put sugar with it. When purged or griped give it first a purge of Rhubarb 5 grains, & magnes 10, or 20 - & after his bowels are cleansed by this purge give it the prepared Chalk with Cinnamon Water, or the Japan Earth with ditto.
