144 Treatment of my Treasure by Dr Rowley in the Inflammation on his lungs in 1800 Janry & Pleurisy. - 3 Grains of James powder & with it, 3 Grains of Camphire, mixed in a little honey taken every six hours until perspiration is brought on - & every time the Cough is troublesome - give, mixed up together, two teaspoonfuls of Paregoric, two teaspoonfuls of Syrup of white poppies in Eight table spoonfuls of Barley Water the former takes away the fever, the latter eases the Cough. - Apply a Blister to the side, or on the Breast to remove the pain, wherever it is, or to give freedom to the respiration
