Linseed Oil heat up with the white of an Egg, & some for a heat in any part, or scalding take five, or six drops of Goulards' Extract of Saturn, & mix it up with a tea spoon full, of cold Cream, or common Cream, if you cannot get the other. for a blow on the head, or indeed any where, by a fall, or a Weight falling on yr Head - [[underline]] be bled directly [[/underline]] - if the head bleeds, put cold Vinegar & Water at 1st then put Brandy & Water by degrees lessening the quantity of Water - & for three Weeks neither Eat Meat or drink Wine, - live on Saline draughts, Gruel &c - & keep entirely quiet neither ride, drive out, read, or write.
