80 [[underline]] Account of Medicines [[/underline]] Salt of Tartar, or Lixivium of Tartar is excellent for the Gravel, but if taken in too large doses, burns the Stomach as it is a kind of Caustic. -- 10 drops at a time is sufficient. Extract of Saturn, & [[deletion]] Olive Oil [[/deletion]] [[addition]] Spermaceti [[/addition]] is not a bad wash Whiteheads Essence of Mustard best way of taking [[underline]] Castor Oil [[/underline]] 1 table spoonful & a half of Castor Oil 30 drops of Sweet spirits of Nitre mixed up in part of the yolk of an Egg raw - then put to this a tea cup full of Barley Water, & drink it. - The Egg & Oil must be mixed together before either the Nitre or Barley Water are put to it. --
