78 [[underline]] Coughs [[/underline]] proceedings from the stomach -- Mix forty drops of Vitriolic acid with five small teaspoonfuls of Water then add a quarter of an Ounce of sugar & forty drop of Spirits of Lavender. Take of this -- - One Teaspoonful twice a day in a Glass of Barley Water, or Water. a recent Cough, or any cold xber 24th - 1805 Dr. Rowley Paregoric Elixir - 1 table spoonful (half an ounce) Camphorated Julep - 10 table spoonfuls - or (five ounces) Water of Kali - 30 drops, - mix them together & take of this, - 3 table spoonfuls four or five times a day, - having 1st opened the body with Either 10 G. of Jalep & - 12 of Magnesia Dr. Rowley - My Girl xber 24th - 1805 -- Taken in peppermint Water.
