73 - Stone - Gravel - &c Venetian Soap - Borax - Aloes - of these take of each one dracm - to be made into Pills - Each pill to consist of [[underline]] 3 [[/underline]] Grains four to be taken every day - continue them some length of time. -- The best Castille Soap dissolved in boiling Water with a little Sugar, & milk mixed all together is an excellent recipe for the Gravel -- Lime Water for the Stone Take a pd. of Lime made with Oyster Shells, put it into an Earthen Vessel, & pour a Gallon of Water upon it let it stand [[underline]] 4 [[/underline]] hours, then pour it off clear; - this drank to the quantity of [[underline]] 3 [[/underline]] pints pr. day beginning Early fasting & continued will dissolve the Stone & bring it away.
