70 receipts For the gravel - Dr. Rowley - Take 5 table spoonfuls of the best Oil, Almost half a Wine pint of soft water, forty grains of salt of Wormwood or 50 drops of Lixivium of Tartar A teaspoonful of Oil of Juniper & some powdered Sugar. - of this take 3 table spoonfuls 4 times a day. To rub outwardly Take of Oil of Turpentine - 1 table spoonful of Oil of - 3 table spoonfuls of Water - 2 table spoonfuls of Laudanum - 1 table spoonful. - Castile soap is very good for the Gravel, so is Honey, & so is Hollands Gin
