[[underline]]66 [[/underline]] To make a philosophical Tree Take of the finest Leaf silver one ounce Aqua fortis, & quicksilver, of Each four ounces dissolve the silver & quicksilver in the Aqua fortis & put the solution in a very large glass vial, then pour a pint of Water over it, & stop it up. - Then you will see a fine Metallic tree growing larger Every day. -- To make a Stone that will produce fire when [[deletion]] lighted [[/deletion]] wetted -- Take quick Lime, Salt petre, Alexandrian Tutty, & an herb called Calamint, of Each one ounce Sulphur vivum, & Camphire of Each two ounces Powder then & pass them thro' a fine seive, put them into a bit of new Linen cloth, & tie them close up, - put them into a crucible, & place another on that one, mouth to mouth, [[unclear]] them well together, & set them in the Sun
