55 [[underline]] Rheumatism [[/underline]] Take [[underline]] 2 table [[/underline]] spoonfuls of hartshorn, and Three Tea Spoonfuls of Laudanum, mix them all together & rub the part affected. Dr. Cooper another four drams of Camphire melted in a tea spoonful of spirits of Wine - & then four Table spoonfuls of Oil mixed with it. Mustard is very good for Rheumatisms. - a fomentation of half Brandy & half Water applied as hot as possible, by flannels is also very good for partial Rhum. bearing the appearance of stiff necks, &c. -
