46 [[underline]] Coughs & Inflammation on the lungs. [[/underline]] For a Child with fever that wants perpirations, & has symptoms of an Inflammation on [[underline]] his Lungs [[/underline]], &c. The Child to be bathed in a Tub of warm water, & to each paleful of Water put a quarter of an ounce of Nitre - in this Bath let him stay one quarter of an hour & [[underline]] in it, [[/underline]] be well rubbed every where; after being wiped perfectly dry & drest in his night cloaths - (3 Grains more or less according to the strength & size of the Child) 3 Grains of James's Powder should be taken in jelly or any thing, & repeated every four hours until it produces perspiration [[insertion]] if James's powder don't agree alone give ^ [[insertion]] with it [[/insertion]] as many grains of Camphire [[/insertion]] or some other visible effect. - Should the Bowels be affected 6 Grains of Magnesia may be added, but not before it has proved by [[underline]] 4 [[/underline]] or [[underline]] 5 [[/underline]] times Taking that they produce no evacuations of any kind - & then only must
