[[underline]] 22 [[/underline]] Receipts for Saline draughts [[underline]] 20 [[/underline]] Grains of Salt of Wormwood, 1st melted in water, with some Sugar; when ready to drink it, pour into it nearly one table spoonful of Lemon juice, & take it while in a ferment. ditto for Camphorated Julep Spirits of Wine -- 10 drops Pounded Sugar -- half an ounce Boiling Water -- one pint rub the Camphine with the spirits of Wine then with the sugar, then pour the pint of Water by degrees upon it, & strain it when cold. -- ditto to make Steel Water for the nerves. -- Put [[underline]] 10 [[/underline]], or [[underline]] 20 [[/underline]] drops of the Tincture of the flowers of steel, (martial flowers) in a quarter or half a pint of Water.
