[[underline]] 13 [[/underline]] -- Coughs - Colds -- irritable, 20 drops of spirits of Hartshorn (Spiritus Cornu Cervi) ought to be used instead of the Salt of Tartar, - another for a Cough with Phlegm [[underline]] 1 [[/underline]] Grain of Tartar Emetic, [[underline]] 30 [[/underline]] Grains of Nitre, 2 Teaspoonfuls of Magnesia, dissolved & shaken together in four ounces of Water to be taken [[underline]] 3 [[/underline]] times a day, [[underline]] 2 [[/underline]] tea spoonfuls each time. - another Oil of Sweet Almonds - 6 drachms pure Water -- 3 ounces [[unclear]] of Tartar -- 8 drops Nitre -- 1 scruple mixed together & a Table spoonful to be taken [[underline]] 3 [[/underline]] or [[underline]] 4 [[/underline]] times a day. --
