Take, the mild muriate of quicksilver, 12 grs. Compound Extract of Colocynth, 1 Drachm Sufficient quantity of Simple Syrup to make them into 24 Pills, of which two or three are to be taken every other night -- Take Milk of Almonds -- 4 oz of squills a Simple oxymel. --1/2 oz Camphor. Tinct. of Opium -- 1. oz Syrup of White Poppy. 2 Drachms Mix them -- a table spoonful to be taken frequently, when a cough is troublesome
