Windsor Castle. Dec. 26. 1817. Sir The King pass'd yesterday very well, tho' His Majesty convers'd frequently in a louder tone of voice than usual. His Majesty did not sleep any part of the day - but slept five hours, and a half in the night. His Majesty looks well this morning, and talks in an animated manner, but is entirely free from all excitement. I am, Sir, most respectfully, your Royal Highness's faithful Servant Henry Halford.
