Sir The King lived yesterday in a state of tranquillity without interruption. We did not observe any appearance of excitement, altho' His Majesty talk'd a good deal in a cheerful tone of voice, and on subjects on which He is apt to dwell with some animation, and His Majesty went to bed without receiving the necessary aid to guide Him to His chamber, in ill part. His Majesty slept almost three hours in the night, and is now asleep in His chair. I am, Sir, most respectfully your Royal Highness' faithful Servant Henry Halford Windsor Castle June 3. 1815.
