Sir The King was less comfortable in the afternoon of yesterday than His Majesty had been for some days before, for no reason more obvious perhaps than a want of sleep in the preceding night. We were pleas'd therefore when we heard His Majesty express a desire to go to bed before eight o clock. His Majesty slept three hours without intermission before midnight, and an hour and a half this morning, and even since His Majesty has been calm, and in cheerful spirits. - I am, Sir, most respectfully, your Royal Highness' faithful Servant Henry Halford.
