1812. approach Him Slept three hours and a half, and since one hour. His countenance flushed, and angry: voice hoarse, and irritability unabated. [[note]] Jany. 17th. [[/note]] Talked all day, and till half past three this morning: Then slept at intervals This morning irritability prevails, but less angry. Pulse quick. [[note]] 18th. [[//note]] Talked incessantly since the morning; and although opium had been twice given it produced no sleep. Fell asleep before five for two hours, and immediately fell asleep again till eleven, and then required restraint. [[note]] 19th. [[/note]] Passed the night in restraint, slept half an hour. Has taken no nourishment since the day before yesterday; but now does not refuse milk. [[note]] 20th. [[/note]] Slept at times five hours in the day; irritable when awake. At bed time undressed by force. No sleep nor violence in the night Constantly working the bedclothes up and down.
