1811. [[note]] Septr.27th. [[/note]] -- More calm. Held discourse with absent persons dead for many years. Slept five hours, turbulent when awake. Wetted the bed. This morning with the Physicians good humoured but irrational. [[note]] 28th. [[/note]] Slept two hours and a half, milder, but not not more rational. [[note]] 29th. [[/note]] Chiefly engaged with his own fancies, and often much amused. Slept three hours and a half, but required restraint when He awoke. This morning full of errors. [[note]] 30th. [[/note]] Passed part of the day in restraint from exposing his person. Silent, his mind being occupied with delusions slept more than four hours. This morning, all his delusions strong. [[note]] Octr. 1. [[/note]] Passed the day with imaginary visitors. Went through the ceremonies at dinner calmly, but at five required restraint to prevent taking off His clothes. Slept five hours and a quarter; but awoke, requiring restraint This morning with the Physicians intirely absorbed with imaginary visitors, all long since dead. These he quarreled with, and expressed His anger strongly. --
