The [[underline]] perfect metals [[/underline]] are [[underline]] Gold, Silver & Platina. [[/underline]] The [[underline]] imperfect metals [[/underline]] are [[underline]] Lead, Tin, Copper & Iron. [[/underline]] The [[underline]] Semi metals [[/underline]] are [[underline]] Arsenic, Quick Silver, Bismuth, Antimony, Zinc, cobalt, Nickel & Manganese. [[/underline]] [[underline]] Manganese [[/underline]] is a kind of black [[underline]] Magnesia. [[/underline]] The perfect metals are malliable, & ductile, The imperfect metals, are malliable when heated, & become brittle. The Semi metals are brittle. -- Vermillion, and Cinnabar are also imperfect metals. The perfect metals disolve in [[underline]] Aqua Regia [[/underline]] which is a compound of [[underline]] muriatic Acid, [[/underline]] & [[underline]] Aqua fortis. [[/underline]] A solution of [[underline]] Salamoniac, [[/underline]] and [[underline]] nitrous Acid [[/underline]] have the same effect. - [[underline]] Platina [[/underline]] does not melt by the heat of fire, expose it to the Solar rays, and it becomes a fluid. [[underline]] Silver [[/underline]] crystallized, and mixed with an Acid gives a fine black colour to hair, & other substances, it resists heat as well as [[underline]] Gold, [[/underline]] they all three mix with [[underline]] Copper, [[/underline]] and have strong attraction to [[underline]] Mercury.
