James 7th Earl of Derby married Charlotte de la Trémoïlle, (Daughter of Claude de la Tremoïlle, and of Charlotte who was daughter of William first Prince of Orange) who was daughter of -- Bourbon of the Blood royal of France. Charlotte de la Tremoïlle Countess of Derby had three sons, and four daughters, Edward next Earl of Derby, William and Charles Charlotte Henriette, Catherine, Emily Sophia; Emily Sophia married John marquis of Athol afterwards created Duke of Athol, and had five Sons, John who succeeded his father, Ld. Charles Murray first Earl of Dunmore, Ld William Murray first Lord Nairn, Lord Edward Murray, and Lord James Murray. --- N.B. Lord Charles Murray first Earl of Dunmore was grandson of Madlle. de la Tremoïlle, great grandson to the Princess of Orange, and great great grandson to Charlotte of Bourbon. -- The Duke of la Tremoïlle are princes of Thoars, and Talmond. ---
