What is a Bachelor? a sort of being nature never intended to create, formed out of all the [[underline]] odds [[/underline]] & [[underline]] ends [[/underline]] of the materials which were left useless when the great work was concluded -- all the finer passions were employed before he was thought of, -- what remains for him is hardly enough to rub over, the crusty mould into which he is thrown -- so dame nature gives him [[underline]] self love [[/underline]] without might, or measure, -- an understanding that does no one good, a sprinkling of wisdom which turns to acid from the sour disposition of the vessel in which it is contained -- thus formed a Bachelor
