Bushy House. Jan: 11th: 1828 Late at Night. Dear Augustus, In answer to Yours of yesterday I have to observe that being no longer in Office I do not conceive I have a nomination at the Charter House. Indeed during my appointment I do not believe I ever gave away any thing of the kind. But you had better enquire. I believe I am not a Governor at present. I am sorry you are still suffering from your accident. I am thank God better but prevented by the weather from taking air and exercise as I can & wish. My nerves and strength are still wanting vigour. Your account
