Dear Sir, In answer to Yours of 2d instant which reached me last night I must observe I thought I had already signified His Majesty's gracious commands to thank you for the very handsome Oak Box which brought back to the King's mind the recollection of past and pleasant scenes. I am now to make my excuses for my negligence and ask your forgiveness. Tho' very much gratified with my tour abroad I am returned home with delight and more pleased
