I do most sincerely regret his loss and feel most deeply for Lady Harriett and so does the Dutchess who desires me to express to you her own and my feelings on this truly melancholy circumstance which we request you will make known to Her Ladyship in the Kindest and properest manner. As you were so fully acquainted with the perfect regard I entertained for our lamented friend.
