Bushy House. Novr. 12th: 1827. Late at Night. My Dear Lord, I am to acknowledge Your Lordship's letter of yesterday and rejoice it has been in my power thus early to employ Commander Crole whose future welfare I will watch if he acts as I trust and believe he will properly. Your Lordship the son of an old first Lord of the Admiralty and one who has ever been alive to the interests of the Empire must feel pleased at the result of the event in Navarino by the able Sir Edward Codrington and brave officers and men under his command. I believe
