[[/underline]] Ever Dear Lady Mayo, I hope Your Ladyship has not yet taken any steps respecting Lady Anne Ludlow as I think when I have the pleasure of seeing Your Ladyship today I may give reasons for at least delaying for a few days any direct communication with that excellent Lady: I am on the point of my daughters sadly perplexed but still hope to settle things agreeable to all parties I must consider: [[foreign: French]] adieu [[/foreign]] and ever believe me.
