St. James's. Monday Night. Dear Mayo, In answer to yours of 20th July and it's enclosure I shall observe that I altogether approved of Your Lordship's letter to Lord Liverpool: I wrote to his Lordship as strong a letter as I could pen without loss of time and only this morning recieved the enclosed answer which is certainly favourable and which Your Lordship will do well to Keep and to press the Duke of Richmond on the subject. I am much better and gaining strength every day and preparing to attend the Prince Regent on his excursion
