Jurisdiction of the Court of the Kings Palace - Rule to calculate Interest for days. - The Jurisdiction of the Court of the King's Palace extends into Middlesex, Herts, Kent, Essex, and Surry - The Court is held every Friday in the year, at the Sessions House in Horse Manger Lane - has 4 Council and 6 Attornies, and the proceedings are in all respects similar to those in Westminster Hall - Debts from 40 Shillings to any amount recovered, in actions for Assaults and Trespass, the smallest Damages will carry Costs - which are taxable by the prothonotary, and seldom exceed 6 or 7 pounds - Suits generally terminated in 6 Weeks as some progress must be made every Court day - In arrests for Debts, the Plaintiff is not obliged to search the records for other Writs against the Defendant.
