The intimacy union and sincere amity which subsists between His and the Sublime Pasha will allow the Order of Knighthood to be [[underline]] perpetually [[/underline]] considered as a distinguished Mark of Honor, that the number of its Knights be certain and limited and at no time altered or changed and that in the event of the demise of one of the Knights and his ribbon becomes unused he will not bestow it on another person without consulting with Sublime Pasha for confirmation, and whoever receives it his Name for safety sake shall be registered in the books of his Imperial Divan, and likewise in the Register kept for the purpose by the Court of England. This Royal Decree has been dictated and written and is delivered to the High Court of England in order that this decree of Knighthood may be continually regarded and considered as a mark of Honor and Distinction.--
