Copy Translation of a copy of the Royal Decree of the late Sultan Selem the 3rd for the Creation of the Imperial Ottoman Order of the Crescent dated 27th Rabril Lovre 1219 R. H. corresponding to the 6th July 1804. A. D. For the purpose of according this Royal approbation and appreciation of the Services rendered to the Sublime Port by the Commander in Chief, General Officers and the Governors of the British Army, who were found sometime ago in the Campaign of Egypt and whose Names H.I.M. has ordered and decreed that four Classes of Imperial Medal Orders with a jeweled Sun or Crescent and the Tugra (Imperial Cypher) in them sustained by a Scarlet Ribbon shall be [[catchword]] given [[/catchword]]
