Ems. June 20th: 1826. Dear Sir, I have this morning received Yours of 12th instant and its' various enclosures. I return the proper papers signed. You surprize me that the order is not yet arrived for painting the Outside of Bushy House. I am glad things are selling from the Garden. I think [[underline]] you [[/underline]] were [[underline]] right [[/underline]] in remaining for dinner at the house but [[underline]] Augustus [[/underline]] decidedly [[underline]] wrong [[/underline]]. However let the matter rest as my object is if possible to keep this [[underline]] obstinate [[/underline]] young man out of harm's way. I do not believe he is [[underline]] naturally [[/underline]] inclined to excess
