Meiningen. April 21st: 1825. Dear Sir: About two hours yesterday evening after the post news you sent [[unclear]] its [[unclear]] enclosures of 4th instant arrived which being at length the [[unclear]] compleat. I [[unclear]] returned signed the proper papers. As I am not desirous of entering into any correspondence with Halliday particularly as I have given Barton [[unclear]] directions to keep in England you will tell him I approve of the steps he has taken respecting Jemmett [[unclear]] if he merits [[unclear]] [[unclear]] I am always [[unclear]] [[unclear]] Sir Herbert Taylor. I will not give any more
