Altenstein. August 26th: 1822. Dear Daniell, I have this morning received Yours of 12th instant and its' various enclosures: I return as usual properly signed the papers: I am glad Sophia is at last going to fix herself quietly at Bushy and am equally well pleased Halliday is recovered: for tho' he has many imperfections yet he has valuable good points: I authorize you to direct Ware to prepare a deputation for Elphick's son against I come home: I see the horses have joined their Regiment: it will be a very prudent marriage that Lord Liverpool will make with Mary
