2 and Surveyed and a plan to be made thereof which is here unto annexed the whole piece of Ground contains near a quarter of an acre situate within the Castle Ditch and the house erected on part thereof is an Old Building part Brick and part Timber now in The Occupation of Lady Mary Cook & worth about £25. [[symbol]] Ann. And I am of opinion if the house to which is an Incroachment on the palace to be permitted to stand and remain there and to be granted on lease, the same ought to be granted in a legal manner by your Lordships Warrant and Authority and no other duly part in Charge in Aid of the Land Revenue; And if your Lordships shall think it fit to grant the same to the petitioner in regard to the Charge he has been at in the Discovery a Lease thereof may pass to him for a term of 31 years from the date for a Time of £50. Reserving to his Majesty his heirs and successors a. Rent of £8. 6. 8 [[symbol]] Ann. With a Clause of Resumption at. the pleasure of the Crown on repaying a proportionable part of the Fine and also for restraining the Losses from nailing or fastning Fruit Trees, Buildings or anything whatever to the walls of the Castle which will be agreeable to the Civil List Act.
