As soon as my Desire of an Audience was made known to the King. at this time, He called me into his Closet directly. You have behaved well to me and to the publick. and when he had said that he put off at once, the Air of Dignity, with which he first received me, chang'd His Manner into a more familiar Air, and with the greatest Ease and good Humour, and the most open and condescending Countenance (which set me in a moment at my Ease with Him) He ask'd me, what I thought the - University would do.
