Letter from Anne, Princess Royal to Mrs Clayton [GEO/ADD/28/147], forwarding from the Queen £100, which had been requested by the Duchess of Kent for Mr Saurin's [?] widow, reporting the Queen's decision to pay this annually at around the same time for the duration of the widow's life, and asking Mrs Clayton to ask the Duchess to take charge of the payment's distribution 'As she [the Queen?] is but a very indifferent menager [sic]'; with transcription [GEO/ADD/28/042].
